Has anyone ever described you as ‘an Old Soul’ ? It’s funny how we seem to feel that some of us have been here before. Another way of putting this is ‘born in the wrong time’.

Old Souls have been here as far back as humanity began, and beyond. Some feel a real resonance with having existed in other dimensions and planets.

An Old Soul is seen as wise, skilled or knowing. It can be said of children that they have done things before when they seem naturally gifted. In such cases it seems we have not only a general acceptance that reincarnation is possible; but also a way of knowing ourselves when we come into contact with those who’s soul has been in other bodily forms. This is directly due to the energy and presence of the ‘Old Soul’ ( sometimes known as ‘a Wise One’)

Old Souls are able to create an impact on others, influence them and offer wise guidance during times of vulnerability or challenge.

We are drawn to them as they feel safe and comfortable to be around ( feeling like ‘home’)

Problems on Earth for Old Souls can occur from the fact that they are mind based, with expanded soul chakra and brow chakra (3rd eye) energy centres. This can cause them to struggle with ego issues ( often relating back to a past existence) or to over think in life. This may cause a person to present as they would have done in a previous existence without understanding fully how or why. It can also produce a need for self development on understanding the self and the frustrations that go on with believing in it. Old Souls can, I fact, find spirituality very difficult due to their need to intellectualise.

However, many Old Souls feel called to become Spiritual Workers, Teachers and Leaders across all Faiths and belief systems, including Agnostic and Atheist. Scientists, Philosophers, Historians and Archaeologists, Politicians, Teachers, Lawyers and Medical Consultants, for example, can also fall into this category.

Old Souls love to lead and teach others; and to write about what they know, either as Fiction or Non Fiction. Some have memories of past lives, while others have no belief in reincarnation or even of any spiritual existence at all. No matter what they remember or believe they are born to make a huge impact on the lives of those around them and have an extremely high calling of keeping order during times of mass change.

Those who channel the Divine Feminine may be strong nurturers of others, with advanced psychic and healing abilities that cannot be explained by current physical and scientific laws.

Old Souls can love to tell stories and to use them as a tool for continuing Ancient traditions and understandings, for the betterment of humanity. They also love to bring a piece of adventure, mystery and magic into the world.
